Scolia is an innovative automatic score-recording system for steeltip darts. In addition to keeping score, Scolia records the location of each throw with millimeter accuracy to provide coordinate-based statistics to players.

Scolia uses an advanced image processing algorithm to determine the locations of the darts thrown in real time. The system consists of a set of cameras and a processing unit. The cameras are connected to the processing unit via USB cables. Each time a dart hits the board, the processing unit calculates the position of the dart along with the corresponding score.
